Uses: PVM/MA Copolymer is a mixed sodium and calcium salt of methyl vinyl either and maleic anhydride. It is soluble in water and lead to high viscosity and adhesion which can perfectly be used for denture adhesive, the dentures are fixed to the palate or ridge of the mouth to improve the adhesion of the dentures to the oral cavity. Also it can be used in toothpaste, for it’s able to gradually release the active triclosan in 12 hours, triclosan has the function of antibacterial, so it keeps your teeth from bacterial.
